Hydraulic Oil Multiple/Piggyback Pumps & Motors 315,330,350 & 365
Piggyback units needing the same fluid pumped at different displacement levels will yield you great savings. If you use P365/P330 it gives off displacement ratios of 9:1. When using single casting it generates as a port end for the P365 and shaft end for the P330. It makes assembly easier and gives the inlet a place to use for both units, while utilizing the single drive shaft as an advantage.
Mutiple units of course can give you more flow than just from a single unit. It can give you more pumps on a single drive shaft and you can put separate circuits or use them in unison. The multiple section motor gives you twice the torque of a single motor and produce a much smoother torque ripple when the gears are put together in phase one.
Each section of a multiple motor or pump needs to be looked as single unit that produces similar delivery and power input necessities. While it does use the same drive shaft.
The charts below help with port sizes, shaft styles and gears.
