HPV Series Axial Piston Pumps – Pressure Compensated Control

Posted by Tammy Soper on

This control alters the displacement of the pump to duplicate the flow needed to control the system pressure. When a pressure compensated pump gives the pump the ability to use variable flow when it is at a constant pressure adjustment.

The angle of the swash plate is what makes the displacement of a pump to be automatically controlled. It is regimented by the extension of the compensator plunger in turn goes against the swash plate bias spring.

It knows when the downstream of the pressure and modifies the displacement so the pressure is at a constant application. These types of controls are best suited when the flow is changing, but the pressure settings might be perpetual.
