Denison Hydraulic Pump Barrel & Bearing Assy Part ll

In this part we will be talking about he bearing.

Put the inner race of the bearing (1) that have the seven tapped holes up, (making sure your barrel and all parts are clean). Pu the barrel assy (2) on the inner race with the ports turned up and the holes align up. The two screws 3″ long need to be used, put them in the two parts to use as a guide. Now press the barrel assy into the bearing inner race, then take out the screws you used as a guide.
Take the seven screws and put them into the barrel assy and thread into the bearing. Tighten all the screws evenly to 360 in lbs.
Take the two pins (4) and push them into the holes in the face of the barrel.
Rub or brush on a coat of oil on the face of the barrel and put in the face plate (5) over the pins and make sure the steel side is against the barrel.
