FD 30/50/75 Oil Hydraulic Flow Dividers & Intensifiers

Posted by Tammy Soper on

Container Handler A flow divider that has precedent over an outlet valve that relies steadily on separate flow to two important services on container side loaders, they are the steering and remote control circuit. Different flows offer lifting and auxiliary operations. Excavator An excavator circuit that have the extra designs of a flow divider and mid inlet parts in valve to give sporadic high pressures to necessary services   Telescopic Crane A flow divider that has an important outlet valve combine to make for sure there is power to the steering circuit. The next flow gives off two speed lifting...

Hydraulic Seals For Different Types of Applications

Posted by Tammy Soper on

There are different kinds of seals for different applications for all kinds of jobs. The list of seals are endless. By the diagram below you can see what each looks like from a profile picture. You will need to know what kind of seal you need so that it seats in the grooves properly to prevent leaks and to form a tight seal. Like Polypak seals are good for high pressure jobs. Vee packing seal are good for stacking. Rod wipers are used as secondary seals to hold in the slightest of leaks. Wear bands are like a bearing that...

DT Series Motors – General Information

Posted by Tammy Soper on

This little motor puts out a lot of torque to the direct drive to motor/gearbox operations. These motors use a three phase orbiting disk valve that puts into motion a spring biased face seal.  The DT motors use a Rolen Stator format. The format uses a roller the sealing points of the rotor assy. The main aspect of this type of seal are cut down on leaking and not so much friction of internals that produce better mechanics and volume than other formats of applications. These type of motors can also be used on Char Lynn 8000 and 10000, Danfoss...

WV Packing General Uses

Posted by Tammy Soper on

Just as the packing suggest “W” design that is the outline of the seal. These seals are made from different standard material and fabric that is reinforced alloys  that will accommodate most pressures and its surroundings. The strength of the fabric or material is based on several conditions, operating pressure, temperature and the kind of air or medium  that the packing needs to function at. This packing has center rings (CR), flat bottoms (FB) or deep base (DB) for the options. On the deep base it gives some extra sturdiness and constancy for use in single element rod or piston...

Loaded Lip U Cup Seal

Posted by Tammy Soper on

This type of seal can be used in two different ways, a rod seal or a piston seal. The seal is also known as a multipurpose seal. There are three styles of these lip seals: standard, deep base and b style. And there are different elastomers to give you special needs for the job at hand. Standard format is used within a cross section in that the height of the u cup is the same as the cross section. Deep base is the same as the standard except for the height, this seal is taller. The B seal has a...
