Vickers Hydraulic Vane Pump Part Two

Vickers Vane Pump Part 2
Direct Acting Relief Valves and Remote Control Unloading Valve
The pumps are similar to the ones in Part 1, except they deliver from Pressure #2 outlet that could be dropped and the larger pump unloads to the tank as long as the pressure is put into motion at the auxiliary pilot unloading connection. The pressure put on the auxiliary pilot unloading connection makes the low pressure relief valve to be kept open.
Two Pressure & Double Pump Action Direct Acting Relief Valves
This outlet delivers the oil discharge from both pumps when pressures are much lower than the low pressure relief valve settings.
It takes the oil discharge from the small volume pump when the pressure is higher than the lower pressure relief valve are combined. The outlet delivers the oil discharge from the big volume pump at pressures up to the low pressure relief valve setting are upon contact together.
Remote Control Relief or Unloading Valve
Pressure that is applied at the auxiliary pilot control connection from either of the two pressures, makes the low pressure valve to operate either as an unloading valve or as a relief valve.
