Vickers CVCS/CVI Series Cartridge – Pressure Reducing Valve

The cover assy  in the picture below comes in 16 & 25mm sizes. The cover has a NFPA-D03 interface for mounting a DG4V-3-AL-40 pilot valve and a CGE-02 pilot valve or a CVGC-3-10 pressure relief unit. Pilot valves operates with an integral control for low or high reducing pressure settings.  When a CVGC unit is put in between the reducing cover and the pilot valve, the maximum reduced pressure setting is managed by the pilot valve and the lower reduced pressure setting that is controlled by the CVGC unit. When de-energized position  is activated when the pilot valve is at it’s highest pressure setting. It gives off at least 150 psi spread between the maximum and minimum settings.

Also if the CGE -02 pilot valve is used the B port needs to sealed at the cover interface.
