VG80 Directional Control Valves – Meaning of Codes of the Work Section
As you can tell from the diagrams below what the letters and numbers mean on the part number.
When the spool can be put in from either direction end of the bore when the parallel work section is lined up correctly. In turn it will let the valve bank to be put together either left or right to operate it.

Left hand bank push spool in pull spool out
flow from left to right as
you face spool clevis
Right hand bank pull spool out push spool in
flow from right to left as
you face spool clevis
