Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 90 – Pulse Sensing Change
Some of the pulse pick ups that are on the pumps and motors between June 1992 and April 1994 were found to be defective. They were corrosion on the internal circultry.
The corrosion of the internal circultry can have intermittent operation or partial loss of signal and eventual failure.
The picture shows what an installation looks like of the silver color of the potentially defective pulse pick up body. It needs to be replaced with a pulse pick up body that is black in color.
Electrical closed loop feed back circuit, if you have a speed sensor, that is used with a microprocessor, the sliver colored speed sensor need to be replaced even if it has the special hardware features code.
