These pumps were using two different kinds of levelers. Some pumps had an integral sensors and some had a speed sensor. Now they have made it where you can use this sensor if you have a speed sensor or not. This helps when you put it back together and maintaining the pumps.
You can use the new design with the older levelers, they are interchangeable. But you can no longer get the other levelers and they are not considered service parts either..
