This will affect the Series 40- M25, M35 and M44 pumps and variable motors.
Made a change to the trunnion seal design by the dust lip to be extended, giving more system centering tolerance and a little more lead way when it is being put in. After this new makeup, there will be less how hour trunnion seal failures that were caused by not putting it in correctly.
And the new seal can be used on the old style, the manufacture suggests that the old seal be replaced with a new one when making repairs. And you will still be able to get the old seal.
