Series D103A Hydraulic Valve Specs

These are directional control valves are mounted on:

Detent models – needs to be horizontal

Spring offset and centered models – this has an unrestricted mounting

This is the way mounting pattern for all styles is NFPA standard D10.

If you have line surges then it would be a good idea to have separate tank line and drain lines.  Valves that are put in with a regular tank and drain line, flow surges in the line can make for unexpected spool shift.

If you have an (*)

It has a normal port usage

P = lets in fluid from source

T = put fluid back in tank

A & B = direct flow to & from system

X = takes pilot flow that is needed to shift main spool

Y = drain flow is taken back from pilot valve
