Rexroth Tie Rod Mounts
When your talking about flange mounts and tie rod mounts are about the same, except the tie rod are extended and they are used to mount the cylinder. So that you don’t have sagging or putting your cylinder in a bind when you have long strokes. The free end of the cylinder needs to be supported for the thrust load procedures, blind or cap end tie rod extensions are best. If you have a tension load procedures, rod or head end tie rod ext. are better. Tied rod mounts are meant for many different procedures, but are not as rigid as the flange mount.
They are available with fixed non adjustable cushion on the rod end on the cap end.
