This control is made to control the amount of horsepower at maximum force that it is required for this type of compensated pump. It has three settings that set the limits on that particular jobs performance on that unit. There is a sense line that is needed, so it connects to the line that goes between the pump and actuator. To get the control you need, install an orifice that has been calibrated for the outlet on the pump and you want need anything else.
Most of the times this type of control is used in high pressure/low flow and high flow/low pressure.
