Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 40 Cylinder Block Kit Change As it is right now the M46 motors use a cylinder block kit that has a slipper retainer guide (ball guide) built into the cylinder block.  Now the kits have a new part in there…another retainer guide that has hold down pins to gives pressure from the block spring to the slipper retainer. This  result is positive hold down pressure that spreads to the slippers and swashplate. And on the M46 fixed motors it will change to the pump style cylinder block it. It use to be on just special models....

Eaton Hydraulic Series 76 Control Orifice A control orifice is known as a control valve or an internal pressure override. It helps decide the speed that the displacement changes. The orifice can change as the vehicle operating applications change.  Look on the orifice you will find a stamp on there that tells the size. Sundstrand Sauer Danfoss Series 40 M46 Charge Pressure Relief Valve First you need to take off the relief valve hex plug. Take the spring and poppet out of the housing. Try not to damage the shims or other interchangeable parts. Look over the poppet and mating seat in the end cap for marks or debris. Put the poppet, spring and plug (with shims and oring) back in the housing. Torquing the plug using 30-70lbs.
